Filmmaker Santosh Sen, is now well-known for his work as a producer and director. Since his arrival into the film industry, he has quickly established himself as a change maker. In my blog, I’m writing a few quick words about him.
When creative and labor are in an uninterrupted rhythm, this circumstance is desired by the ordinary human. And in that beat, the melody plot’s reverberates from long-ago times of life and pleasure. In the case of Santosh Sen today, the same is going to happen.
He spent his few years of his working abroad in Singapore. Since he was a little boy, he had a very big craze for movies.
He used to travel Nepal and bring CDs of movies. He frequently saw movies in Singapore. He is constantly interested in Nepali movies and the current state of the Nepali film industry at this time. In particular, he initially had a strong desire to become an artist; But today, he has become Nepal’s one of the finest producer.
Looking back 6 years ago, what did he have? No fame, no glory. The ground on which he was stand, was narrow. However, the dream was strong. He knocked on the door of the film industry to make a film. One of the first attempts failed. The movie was not made, it was stopped in the middle. Then it became, Chankhe, Sankhe Fanke.
Standing unanswered in Dobato, his life took a rhythm when he met Prem Puri. If Prem Puri hadn’t met him today, Santosh himself cannot guess that what journey Santosh Sen would have traveled and how he would have traveled.
He made Chankhe Sankhe Pankhe, Prem Geet, Prem Geet 2, Meri Mamu, and now Prem Geet 3 with the patience from his inner soul of heart. The Hindi version of this film is currently ready to playing in theaters all over the world. The 23rd of September marks the release of this movie in Nepali society abroad.
Santosh Sen developed a distinctive movie with his unique and creative concept. His movies cause a commotion when they are released in the public. How is that even possible? Santosh claims that is so because of he constantly feel that he should be doing something new with his ideas, his projects take on numerous forms.
Santosh grew up in a community where people would gather to watch TV, listen to the radio, and hide in other people’s homes. In his era, FM and radio both emerged. The television started. To watch the television in black and white, colored paper had to be placed on the screen. Posting postcards of heroes and heroines and exchanging greetings were necessary. Wall publications remained popular. It may be believed that he became more interested in movies after this point.
Santhosh is the real architect of commonplace nature. He knows how to get 100% from his artists. Things that are difficult for them to understand are kept. The only producer who speaks plainly is probably him. He always serious about the film. He thinks that film making is not a business, it is a worship of creativity by the people to the people and for the people. I agree wholeheartedly with his notion that this sector should not be taken lightly.
According to him, starting a movie with a little more effort is a good idea.
Yes, He has since produced Prem Geet 3, which is presently the first Nepali film to be released worldwide. He received lots of cheers when this movie launched the global film industry. The supporters of Nepali cinemas have freely given it their appreciation. Everyone has praised Santosh for his bravery.
On September 23rd, this movie will be shown. Many people have already said that this will be a very big successful movie that had ever Nepal made. From Nepal to Bollywood, this movie is being debated. Veteran actors from Bollywood have publicly appreciated the film.
Santosh Sen’s next move is unknown. He has grown up with major challenges perhaps , as a result of Prem Geet 3. He must now create a more significant film.
In Butwal, I had my first encounter with Santosh Sen. Since that time, I have consistently worked for his company, Asusen Film Production, in the media management position. Working with a producer who is so imaginative and enjoyable.
The promotion of the movie “Chankhe Sankhe Pankhe” which was released in 2072 may still be fresh in the minds of Nepali movie lovers. He entered the film industry when there was a crisis in the film industry. Nepali Film industry was struggling. Countless people questioned him that why are entering in such an industry where most of the time people only see struggle and failure. But he is the man of integrity.
He thought that Nepali movies, rather than Bollywood and Hollywood films, might be improved and that this would raise Nepali viewers’ interest in local films. Perhaps his dream was realized in the initial iteration of the love song.
Positive thinkers typically find their efforts are not in vain. Prem Geet, his second film, was a success and helped him to establish himself in the Nepali film industry with great fame as producer. Santosh and actor Pradeep Khadka’s careers were both altered by this love story-based movie. He is now regarded as Nepal’s highest-paid actor.
Producer Sen continued the heritage of the film after Prem Geet was well received by the audience, and after some time “Prem Geet 2” was presented to the audience. Prem Geet 2, the year’s biggest hit, was able to convince the audience that, in Sen’s opinion, Nepali movies have improved in quality.
One of the very few in Nepal who gives priority to all the minor details of the film is producer Sen, who has been in this industry for about 7 years. Sen, the producer, has just begun to treat the film’s production as a very serious business. If he keeps up this pace, he will undoubtedly receive the first credit for expanding the market for Nepali films from a small niche.
The most influential figure in the movie’s production is the producer himself. However, the conversation about this producer is just as important as any actor’s. The majority of audience is currently anticipating Prem Geet 3. because no film was currently popular with the audience.
The bulk of artists in Nepal wish to work with him. If they work with him, even upcoming artists anticipate a change in their lives.
Santos Sen should ultimately take the Nepali film business more seriously. He has a great deal of responsibility for Nepali moviegoers. Salute for the job well done, Santos, and best wishes for the upcoming task and period.
